Position Details
Job Purpose
The Junior Project Manager (JPM) will function under the general supervision of the CEO / Senior Project Manager. The JPM will support and assist the Sr. Project Manager with completing prospective client intake data, generating client proposals and project followup throughout the duration of the project.
Duties and
Responsibilities

Planning, overseeing, client followup and navigating company projects

Leading project (s) to deliverable phase within budgetary guidelines and project timelines

Compile, review and draft land data for preparation of custom proposals

Interact with clients, design professionals, City/ County municipalities and community residents

Prepare staff meeting reports and occasional presentations to city/ county staff, City Council, City Boards and Commissions

Superior ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects

Technology adept

Prepare and present project documentation for City / County meetings as directed

Assist with facilitating public meeting processes

Serve as a company Liaison with Local and State Government Municipalities

Assist in promoting and engaging in Civic Education and awareness of Urban Planning and Land Development projects

Coordinate and monitor community oriented projects

Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems

Attend weekly company staff meetings and training

Perform other related duties as required

Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours as needed

Working
Conditions

Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Monday- Thursday 9:00 am-5:00 pm, Friday's 8:00 am-12:00 noon

Qualifications
Minimum
Experience
Requirements

Provenwritten and oral communication abilities

Ability to comprehend and apply multiple ordinances

Ability to exercise good judgement, tact, and diplomacy in all public interactions

Proven written and oral communication abilities

Minimum of two years Computer Automated Design (CAD) experience

Surveying / Land Development preferred but not Required

Will consider applicable experience and skills from other sectors

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform
the essential duties of the job i.e.Real Estate, Project Management

Preferred
Experience

One or more work experience in Urban Planning, or a Related Field

Knowledge of principles and practices of City Planning as they pertain to Urban Development and zoning and
demonstrated experience in applying these principles and practices

Surveying / Land Development Experience

Education
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Public Administration, or related field or; Master's Degree in Urban Planning or a Related Field Preferred
